First Mohair and Felted Bear

Hi, this is my first felted feet and face bear and I'm quite pleased with him. He's a bit fluffy but he was just for a first test run!! It was quite painful needle felting for the first time but now that I've stabbed myself several times I kind of know where to keep my fingers :) xx

Mousie Mousie

Here's a mouse I made, designed my own pattern and everything!!! I ordered some material from Sambrook Bears and decided to have a go of making my own design, I'm pleased with the way he turned out although he hasn't got a tail yet - poor thing ;)

Tiny Bear

Hi, this is my tiny teddy he's about 9cm small!! He was quite hard work because he was so tiny. I'll definitely have another go :)

Hamish the Westie

Hi, this is my Westie, inspired by Hamish by sisters dog. It took me ages to make him and next I think I'll try doing him in mohair as it's much easier to work with than synthetic fabric. I'm quite pleased with him but he needs some modifications. He's now been adopted by my son and guards his bedroom!!

Teddy Bear

Here's another bear, this one is made of pinkish mohair and he's very soft and cuddly, I've painted around his nose and eyes to warm him up a little!! Hope you like him xx

This was the first bear I made supposed to be called Lulu but looks more like a boy to me so he's called Louis xx

This is what I was doing over the Christmas holidays while we were all snowed in. I thought I'd have a go at making teddy bears and I made these bears from a pattern from Jennylovesbenny I loved making it and now I seem to have caught the bug!! Oh Oh as if I didn't have enough to do :)

Sugar Bowl Challenge #27

Managed to finish a card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge, I usually miss the closing date!! I've used some basic grey papers and a lovely stamp from funky kits which I received last week. Used distress inks on the card and edges of the distressed papers and image. Inked the flower and added a button. Hope you like it, I've made it for my niece Robyn's birthday :D

Challenge 26 – Lilians Sketch

First blog of 2010 and hopefully not my last!! I do mean to blog more often but don't seem to get the opportunity. So I thought I'd make a start this year with a new challenge. Hope you like my card and my new punch!! Thanks for looking and hope to enter more challenges soon:)
